Opal - the stone of emotional support
Opal - a mysterious and captivating stone, colored in the rainbow-like iridescence, changing colors with every angle and light.
How can opal affect emotions?
Opal is known to have two main types: ordinary and precious.
The ordinary opal can be in several varieties, but it is generally opaque and does not show any "fire" - that can be seen only in the second type - the precious one. Each color, of course, offers a slightly different accent.
Ordinary Opal
Ordinary Pink Opal - a wonderful stone for healing emotions, especially those associated with subconscious pain. A good way to use the pink opal is for a sleeping aid - put a piece of it under the pillow or hold it during a regression for emotional support.
Ordinary Blue Opal - keeps away unpleasant thoughts and calms the mind. It can enhance the memory of dreams and even lead to more pleasant dreams. It helps a person share their feelings and communicate on emotional issues.
Ordinary Brown and Black Opal - help in the physical healing process by supporting the balance of emotions. They can help eliminate depression, not by "cheering up" but by eliminating feelings of isolation. They can support a person to gain more vitality and creative energies by gently stimulating the first two chakras.
Precious Opal
White Precious Opal - the most famous of all and most widely used in jewelry. Its milky background color ignites the multicolored fire in a very attractive way. In some cases, the original substance of fossilized wood or sea mussels is replaced with white precious opal, creating some truly amazing specimens.
Black Precious Opal - a variety similar to white, but with a difference in the main color. Black has a basic color of black, dark gray, or dark blue-gray. It is filled with overflowing fire, just like white noble opal, but its deep primary color makes it strikingly different
Blue Precious Opal - also known as “Noble” - this crystal is associated with the power of perception, expression, and strong will, a delightful vibrational combination that can enable the user to see, speak and act with clarity, authority, and confidence
Fiery Precious Opal - named after its bright orange color. It is not usually opalescent but is sometimes clear enough to turn into faceted stones, and they can be strikingly beautiful. Fiery Opal awakens passion. The crystal can enhance the passionate pursuit of enlightenment and divination.
