Silver or gold - how to choose

Most people have their preferences when it comes to precious metals - some are true fans of the cold tones of silver, others love the sunny color of gold. How to choose what to wear if we like both types?

Silver would look great…

Silver would look great on ladies with light, almost transparent skin, blue/purple veins, and hair in cool tones. It is suitable for young girls who are just starting their jewelry collection, as it fits almost anything. Of course, its price is also not to be underestimated - it is much more budget-friendly than gold and allows it to be used to make massive jewelry pieces.

Silver is also a universal pick if you want to include different colors of stones in your jewelry. Due to its neutrality, can fit perfectly with both clear crystals or more colorful ones, without looking too flashy. It is also perfect to wear every day in the office, at school, basically anywhere, as it is unpretentious and can be combined with both a formal outfit and something more casual.

Gold would fit best….

Gold is a completely different category. It comes in several varieties, from which you can choose - rose gold, old gold, yellow gold, or an even more expensive alternative - white gold (platinum). It is of course supposed to be worn as a centerpiece to the whole outfit, as its color and shine are much more noticeable and attract attention. Gold can be combined with crystals in the warm shades, but definitely, the color combinations here would be rather more limited than with silver. Due to its relatively higher price, it is a suitable gift for a loved one or anniversary. It looks great on ladies with a light tan or dark skin, as it emphasizes warm shades. Ideal jewelry for brunettes with deep brown eyes.

It can be too much for everyday wear, especially if it's a massive piece, but it's the go-to for social events.

Regardless of what you chose to wear - combine it with a big smile and you would be stunning!
